The 400 Company - Television Facilities

The Studio

We have a brand new fully lit, in-house studio facility, with white infinity as standard, chroma key blue, green, black drapes, movie track, in-house crew & kit or dry hire.

MEASURING 26’ LONG, 22’ WIDE, 14’ HIGH (572sqft, 53sqm), it is perfect for small sets, talking heads, band promos, photo calls, EPK's etc...

What's the difference between Blue and Green screen Chromakey?
Blue is the complementary colour to flesh tone, and since the most common colour in most scenes is flesh tone, the opposite color is the logical choice to avoid conflicts.
Green has it's own advantages, beyond the obvious one of greater flexibility with blue foreground objects.
Historically, cameras were more sensitive to blue light, now they are perhaps most sensitive in the green channel, so often have the best resolution and detail in that channel.
If poorly lit,  green spill is obvious, even in small amounts, whereas blue can sometimes be unnoticed.

We are close to the BBC & available to hire for castings, rehearsals at very competitive hourly rates!
